Conference on road infrastructure in the forest
Today, from 12.00-14.30, a conference entitled "FOREST ROADS - POTENTIAL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL FOREST FUNCTIONS".
The event is organized by the Association of Forestry and Wood Engineers and Technicians and National Forests. Wojciech Grochala, Director of the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Zielona Góra will introduce the topic. Andrzej Czerniak from the Department of Forest Engineering of the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań will talk about research issues in the field of forest road engineering and the latest technologies. Grzegorz Trzciński from the Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) will raise the topic of providing access to forest roads. Radosław Sroga from the Office of Forest Management and Forest Surveying in Brzeg will comment on "Forest sharing - paths, bicycle routes, road and touristic surveys". Finally, conference participants will be invited to discuss.
