EKO-LAS once again in the most wooded region.

Next year forest sector meeting will be held once again in Świebodzin Forest District (in Mostki, 120 km to the west of Poznan). This district is located in the most wooded area - Lubuskie. For years it occupies first place in terms of forest cover, in 2009 it reached a level of 48.9% - the national average is 29.1%. (according to GUS - as of 31 December 2009)

Besides this undisputed advantage of Lubuskie region on the choice of location has also influenced an excellent logistical capabilities, experience, organizational and technical and technological advancement of the regional forest-timber industry. Another advantage of the region is also a range of tourist attractions associated with their natural, historical or cultural qualities.
